The one thing that most affiliate marketers do on a constant basis is to come up with new ideas. It can be difficult sometimes to come up with something new. With so many offers available through the affiliate networks where does one begin? The easy way is to pick up ideas from the media. When I watch TV I look for new ideas that might work with some of the offers that I have available on the networks. This is a great way to find a niche. The other method I like to use is magazines. When I wait for appointments I try to go through as many magazines as I can. One idea that I found turned out to be a real winner. If I had not found it in the magazine I would never had thought of this on my own. When you are out try to listen to what other people are talking about or shopping for. You find many unique ideas this way. As an affiliate marketer you need to practice tuning your senses. You never know where the next great idea is going to come from. With so many messages being delivered to us everyday, you need to figure out how to monetize. Even with my eBay sales I try to pick up new ideas and find products that would do well at auction. Keeping track of all these ideas is important to succeed. When I find a new idea I write it down in a little notebook, or make a note in my cell phone. At the end of the week I go through all these ideas and try to figure out which one is going to work. Once I have a list of ideas that sound promising it’s a matter of setting up a landing page and getting the right offers to match the idea. It amazing to see the sales on an idea that seemed a little odd, but it happens. You never know what is going to work.
